This Spring, pastels are huge. Light, flirty colors are taking over the run way and taking over the store fronts today. Not only are pastels big in women's fashions, but also in men's! Check it out!

One thing I love to do, especially in the Spring, is to take inspiration from some of my favorite movie characters. Kara Hayward, who play's Suzy in Moonrise Kingdom, has an adorable style. Check it out!

For my last Spring style, I have to mention everything floral. Floral print has always been big, but with fashion taking a look back at the 60's and the 70's it's really taken off again. Check it out!

Homecoming Fashion 2012

Hey girls, it's that time of year again...HOMECOMING! If you're like me and you don't get to have a formal homecoming then just enjoy reading this post and imagining what you would wear! If you do have a formal dance then here are some great dress and accessory ideas. 

1. Homecoming represents the easy going time that is football season. Try to stick with loose fitting dresses that hang right above the knee. Longer dresses are made for dances in the winter so try to avoid those.
2. Always pick a dress that is fitted to your style and shape. If you don't feel comfortable in the dress then you won't shine on the dance floor..:) 
3. If a dress says "bubble" always avoid it. For Example...dresses with this bubble skirt were very popular last year, but this year dresses with straighter skirts are in!

• The studded loafer goes great with this red-hot dress, but if you want to wear heels, these color-blocked ones are also fabulous!

The Peplum Waist...everyone is talking about and you see it on every runway. It's the flared waist on a skirt or dress that adds the perfect charm to any outfit! It seems these days that all of the celebrity's are wearing it and designers like Ruffian and Jason Wu are adding it to their fall lines. Check it out!
