Fall Fashion Inspiration: From Audrey Hepburn to Elizabeth Taylor

Recently  I have combing through thrift stores, library book sales, and my grandma's bookshelf for books about the fabulous Audrey Hepburn. It has kind of become a hobby for me. I love finding them...it literally brings me so much joy. Her style was iconic and I love mirroring it!

It seems these days that people are modeling the styles of today after those of the 50's and 60's. It is shown in magazines like Vogue and Elle the drastic comparisons to these styles of the past!

Dressing like your favorite icon from the past is so simple, you just have to know what to look for! For example, let's take a look at Audrey's style. Through pictures you can really tell that she loved stripes!

Vogue: 120 Years Of Style

Today I received a very wonderful gift...a 900 page issue of Vogue magazine! I was so happy that I had to come home and tell the world about it! It is simply breath taking...the pictures, the articles, and especially all of the clothes!

Lady Gaga graced the cover, and although I am not a fan of her music she still looked beautiful in a pink gown. At first I didn't even recognize her because she wasn't wearing an eccentric outfit...if only she would wear normal clothes in public..;) Even my cat thought she looked a little different..haha. 

The issue highlighted past issues with beautiful photos.
