Fall Fashion Inspiration: From Audrey Hepburn to Elizabeth Taylor

Recently  I have combing through thrift stores, library book sales, and my grandma's bookshelf for books about the fabulous Audrey Hepburn. It has kind of become a hobby for me. I love finding them...it literally brings me so much joy. Her style was iconic and I love mirroring it!

It seems these days that people are modeling the styles of today after those of the 50's and 60's. It is shown in magazines like Vogue and Elle the drastic comparisons to these styles of the past!

Dressing like your favorite icon from the past is so simple, you just have to know what to look for! For example, let's take a look at Audrey's style. Through pictures you can really tell that she loved stripes!

Audrey also had a thing for the classic pea-coat!

Vintage Third Eye Pea Coat ~Modcloth
Finally, Audrey loved her shorts! Especially high waisted ones!

Here are some other awesome ways to dress like those from the past! Enjoy!
